And they call me a player hater. You don't think Helms was the most talented player OU has had at the DI level? You must not have seen a lot of games in this league then. On pure, raw talent, Helms is(was) in a class by himself.

That being said, he was never developed into a complete player. Your statement that he has been used the same is partial verification that he stopped developing as a player a few years back. That is just as much a function of coaching as it is the motivation of a young player.
