This reminded me of one night a few years ago when I was dating this guy who was probably the longest relationship (and most meaningful for me at the time) I'd ever been in. I had gone to his house for the weekend (I lived in Vermont, he lived in Massachusettes) it was a 2+ hour ride down a dark, lonely interstate where you were lucky to see one or two other cars besides you.

That night I'll never forget - it was the night he said "I don't love you" - and I left that house in the middle of a snow storm, and drove 2+ hours up this dark lonely interstate with no one else on the road, no lights anywhere - listening to soul torturing "Delila" with the sob stories of other lovers and other lives.

The snow, the loneliness... that's what it reminded me of. Yet another poem that struck a cord that forced me to remember and to feel. It takes a talented writer to bring that out in a person - and I've admired your poetry since the day I came to this board. I am in awe of you.
