You quit smoking AND drinking? Sheesh!! Hope you get better quickly.

I don't have any particular respiratory problems even though my Dr. says I have the early stages of emphysema(sp). I did stop smoking last October and can tell the difference in breathing/coughing/sinus etc. I still haven't regained my full sense of smell or taste yet. It still tastes like fish. :)
