I suppose that was our mistake, Pot. - Instead of saying to use them sparingly, we should have said to use them VERY SPARINGLY.
They are a type of wild pepper and I'm not sure which species, but I think they are Chiletepins, and are perenials.
I am going to leave a couple outside this winter. - I know they will probably "freeze back", but they should resume growth in the spring.
Maybe next year, I will cross-pollenate them with Haberneros and see what happens. - I'm hoping that it will result in a hotter Habernero, since they are a larger pepper.
