It's pretty simple really. The guilty people don't generally care to take poygraphs. There is a very strong possibility that several of those scumbags have been doing the leaks. They feed information to their favorite bigshot reporter in return for getting favorable writeups in the paper. It doesn't make a crap to them that they are leaking classified info. I've only heard of one who ever got "chastised" for leaking classified info and that was the wonderful, pompous c**ksucker, Leahy who was kicked off the Senate Intelligence committee for leaking stuff. I won't bother to mention some other politicians who carelessly or accidently exposed classified material that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to correct not counting any damage to national security and they didn't even get a slap on the wrist.
