Kind of.

After redshirting '95 at UOP (I was the 6th string QB), the Sac O-Coord wanted nothing to do with a 5'7" QB with a 5.2 40. Rats! My eligibility expired without my ever playing a down. Ouch!

Out of us 6 QBs, only 5th stringer Gio Carmazzi got drafted (49ers). Fourth teamer John Fassel (son of Giants coach Jim Fassel) was cut by the Dolts (I mean Colts) as a receiver. The third guy, who eventually took over as the starter (Graham Leigh) eventually went from winning a bowl game (Insight.com) to being cut by the Cards to fininshing last season starting for the Birmingham Thunderbolts of the XFL. Original starter Chad Fotheringham is making a name for himself in the pharmaceutical industry, while our other fifth-year senior and erstwhile starter, Nick Sellers, parlayed a short Arena League career into a great job in government with the governor of Alabama. That's the '95 QB Corps for UOP.

As for the Manure Pile, I have no idea how many schollies they maintain, but I do know it's not many and definitely not enough to keep up in I-AA. They were reluctant to have any in the first place.

GO TIGERS!!!
