These people are forgetting one very easy solution. I guess that nobody's ready to see women's football at the collegiate level. I'm sure there are more Ashley Martin's (Jacksonville St. kicker in 2001) out there who'd love a chance to compete, but feel as if they won't be given a chance. Heck, the Chiefs gave a tryout to Mia Hamm, for crying out loud. And there are women's pro leagues out there (one in the upper Mid-West and a semi-pro league in the Sac-Joaquin Valley at the very minimum). Why can't colleges do the same thing?
