Subject: Bowden Bows Out In Style

Myree Bowden scored 36 points as No. 30 seed Cabrillo played well before dropping a 70-61 decision to No. 3 seed American River in a Northern California Community College playoff game on Saturday night in Sacramento, Coach Bob Thomason was in attendance and reportedly liked what he saw. Bowden, a 6-2 guard, is the Tigers' lone signee from the fall signing window. He averaged 21 ppg in the regular season for a bad JC team.
