Talked to an assistant coach at American River College today and here's what he had to say about Bowden's Saturday night performance.

"He has the total package. We put our best defensive guard, Roy Stigall, on him and we got nowhere. We heard his weakness was 3-point shooting so we tried to keep him outside. He hit from the perimeter, then killed us with pullups off drives. He is very athletic and can really score in a hurry. Finally, we just tried to shut off all their other players. Cabrillo had a weak supporting cast. He plays decent defense, also. He's got to be one of the best JC guards in the state, He should be a successful player in the Big West."
