Subject: Girls nab HUGE win!!!

Y'all should have been there. Idaho had absolutely NO business being on the court with our Tigs this afternoon. #3 UOP absolutely destroyed the Vandals 72-45. Idaho Vandalized NOBODY today.

After a slow first half (28-15 UOP), UOP was on fire. The awesome Andrea Nederostek led the way once again, going 4-6 from the field for 8 points to go with 6 big defensive rebounds in 19 minutes. A big game was also turned in by Big West 6th Person of the Year Nancy Dinges and point guard Selena Ho, who got her usual 15 points. The middle was held up by forward Gillian d'Hondt, who allowed nobody to do anything.

The Tigers will face #2 UC Riverside in the semis. The Highlanders beat #7 UC Irvine 63-53, which was amazing since UCR was up by almost 20 at halftime. Irvine closed to 3 just b-4 the 2-minute warning, but UCR pulled away. So former Flame Lisa Woznick's season is done. (Man, I wish she had gone to UOP!)

I'll be back on Saturday to watch both Tiger teams get into the Big Dance.
