Subject: Pacific Pursuing Pennsylvania Guard

Pacific has offered a scholarship to Reading Central Catholic guard Dorian Sims, according to a report in the Allentown (Pa.) Morning Call. Sims, a 1,000 point career scorer, is averaging 19.4 ppg for his 26-3 team. Reading Catholic was playing in the Pennsylvania 2A state tourney on Saturday. Sims, a 6-0 senior, was a member of an AAU team that came to Sacramento last year (or the year before) in a summer ball exchange program. If I remember correctly, he lit it up. He definitely has played out this way. That's how the Tigers know about him.
