Subject: Speaking of blinders off

Against pissberg, they may actually have ripped those blinders completely off this offense. The original scripted sequence obviously called for up & chucking it right down the field & maybe they continue to possibly fill the air with footballs if the first TD had counted & we went forward flinging from there? But once things crashlanded in the flaming heap all that became obsolete & more dictated by desperation. Urkel & Caldwell completely disappeared too.

Then on the other hand, maybe that's what it looks like after the league gets enough film to take AD's measure? There was some of the Denver effect where teams had not much clue as to what we might have in the bag of tricks & we beat them some that way via preparation. After all, that was the 2nd time around now for him to be seen by the stillers ... although I do get the feeling the stills approached this last game a little more seriously than the 1st one @ PBS too (plus they got a key defender or 2 back, plus that one WR guy that came up huge, is it Wallace?

I actually think our QB savant has already progressed past the point where he can have a good game just by virtue of DCs just saying "we'll make the rookie QB beat us" by more concentrating stopping the rush. Now he's already forcing them to play both phases more honestly against him. He'll still be making some (few) more initial 'rookie' mistakes & all, but his super-rapid progression up the ladder in playing the position will just keep on trending up. J-Joe says on Hobson from studying the films he looks like a 5-year vet already.

This week's AD video presser:

He was more lose last week before the stillers. He's also already perfecting a little of the ol' Marvin Stare (or maybe it's the lighting?) when listening to some questions (more last week than this).

Palmer I never ever really warmed up to & he projected like such a big refined but somewhat disaffected oaf such that I went out of my way not to waste much focus on his practice or play.

AD now is in charge & I just can't wait to see what he's up to ... it really is like the video clip of Ralphie taking the shot at Black Bart, shooting the glasses off, but then discovering the eye's not out after all & then beginning to formulate the next phase (with all new hot-off-the-presses Marvin issue inspirational T-shirts to boot)!
