although we have had our share of good days this winter, today is freezing. Oc course, lately it seems that I spend a day or two out of every week in California, so that helps out when the temperature goes down here.

I know I've been quiet lately - things in WaldoWorld have been crazy lately, with heavy travel and plenty to do when I'm home (although primarily work, no "play," if you know what I mean...)

Speaking of being "home" - I hope to be in a new one soon. Waldo, former big shooter in the aerosol industry, should be Waldo, homeowner for the first time in his life by the end of March. I don't even have one picked out yet, but my lease ends the end of March, and I should have everything done by then - houses are pretty easy to find 'round here for a change (although still VERY expensive), and amazingly enough, the bank looked at my shoddy credit history and decided that I'm the perfect candidate to loan a couple hundred thousand dollars to.

I had a great holiday, by the way, while I'm catching you all up in one brief post... an answer to a question posed some time ago.... coolest gift that I got for someone else... my mom has really gotten into bird watching and has several feeders at home. Every time I visit them, I see a new bird watcher book on the porch, and she seems to enjoy learning all the different kinds of birds that visit. Of course, I can't imagine anything more BORING, but I found this software program on CD ROM that has every bird known to North America, and pictures, and videos, and sound files of the stupid chirps and what-not. You can also sort by characteristic and narrow down the possibilities to ID the bird - this color crest, this color beak, and so on. Now she sits there with her lap top and apparently learns everything no one ever wanted to know about birds. It was a lucky guess on my part, but she's made a point to tell me a couple of times how much she enjoys it.

So I'm off to Fresno tomorrow, and back Friday night - I'm house hunting with the agent on Saturday and taking the digital camera. When I get to the point where I can pick one out, I'll get some pics up at the Booster Club. If I don't have any news about the house, I'll at least come back with a new Waldo story for m'queen... Waldo, Colorado resident, goes snow skiing for the very first time.... OUCH!!!!!
