Subject: I finally invested in a digital camera

A middle of the road camera -- probably not nearly up to the standards you are seeking, especially if you wish to use a telephoto lense for those sports shots, but good enough for my needs. (Kodak Easyshare CX4300, 3.2 megapixels.)

Let me ask a dumb question -- do you intend to post pics on the WWW with this camera, or why do you want a digital camera? The reason I ask is even my middle of the road camera takes a pic with so many pixels that I end up compressing the original image to make it load in any kind of reasonable amount of time.
