i can't say i even begin to understand how you are feeling never have gone through it myself yet. i'm not even going to try and offer any words of wisdom because you are already too smart.

it is kind of odd i checked in here to read this when i have a bit of sad news of my own to report. a little after 1 in the morning my grandmother passed away. it wasn't a surprise in the least and we expected it, but it doesn't make it much easier. the end was very slow and drawn out. she had been ready to go for so long, but she never stopped fighting for an instant. she was a tough one for sure.

i think the hardest part was watching it eat away at my father. he felt so horrible and guilty over the fact that there wasn't anything he could do for her.

anyhow, my little monsters are starting to show up. this is going to be a tough one.
