When I was in the Navy they showed us some video shortly after I joined the squadron of some of the weapons systems in action to "motivate" us.

One of the videos was of a bomb called a "Walleye". This bomb has a video camera built into it and control fins so that the pilot can literally fly it onto a target using a small joystick in the cockpit of his plane.

Anyway this particular footage came from the Vietnam war. The pilot was supposed to take out a bridge. As he approaches the bridge you can make out a guy in black pajamas riding his bicycle across the bridge.

At first he seems totally oblivious to the fact that there is a bomb on its way towards him, but then all the sudden he must hear something (the plane or the bomb I'm not sure - the clip was silent) and he turns around.

His eyes literally seem to bug out of his head and he starts peddling his ass off trying to make it across that bridge. He keeps turning around and looking over his shoulder to see if he's getting away from that bomb then turning back forward and peddling even harder.

The pilot must have decided he wanted a "2-fer" because he locked that bomb right onto that guy's ass and no matter how hard the guy rides you can see him getting bigger and bigger in the bomb's camera lense. The last few frames are a super close up of him right before the screen turns white and I swear his eyes had that "big as saucers" thing going about then.

You may find this strange, horrible and sick, but all 80 men in that room including yours truly laughed their asses off like we were watching a roadrunner cartoon when we saw that...
