my hair was originally a dirty blonde color with a mullet. i struck a deal with my parents that i would cut it short if they'd let me dye it black. they reluctantly agreed and from that point on it was a disaster. i quickly struck another deal where i wanted to get my septum and ears pierced (a surefire way to put my dad over the top considering he is so old school in his beliefs). i knew this would throw him in a rage, but it was a way to have free lisense to do whatever i wanted with my hair.

anyhow, it got really long all the way around, and i was one of those on the cutting edge to weary it back in a pony tail and shave it underneathe. anyhow, i stripped the black off of the tips of my hair, which turned it a funny orange color and proceeded to dye the tips blue. i repeated the deal with several different variations. before i knew it, i had grown a real life rainbow with a genuine pot of gold at the end...my brain. my hair was black with blue and green tips at the end. this eventually faded in spots (i was an amature) so the orange color could easily be seen as well. the roots of my hair had grown out quite a bit since the last black job, so this was a good opportunity to apply the plum and later red to it. i'm not quite sure where that takes us number wise, but that is the deal.

this eventually gave way when i got into the straight edge thing and cut it short. i just chopped off my pony tail. at this point i hadn't had a barber hair cut in about 3 years. once i got to college i knew i'd never need a barber and certified myself master of head and shoulders and dusted off my weedeater. the rest is history, both figuratively and literally.
