My main gripe with Liberal Constitutional scholars is not that they interpret so much as that they don't give a hoot in hell about what the original purpose of the legislation was.

For example -- The RICO act was intended for prosecuting mobsters. Liberals have twisted it to where it is now used to go after people who picket abortion clinics. Free Speech? Only politically correct Free Speech if you please...
