I'm always trying to find ways to fit more plants in. Most of mine aren't too big yet. I use shelves with lights in them so I can have plants stacked. Amazing how many you can get into a small space if you really want to. But then Mama Nature is like that. The number and variety of plants in different plces astounds me.

I go for that jungle layered look... I have ONE front window, and all (ALL) of my house plants have to go in front of it. This year, the Xmas tree got displaced rather than the plants. I have 18 plants in front of a 5 1/2 x 6 foot window. My couch, a table, a book case, the fountain, artwork, the phone, and a chair share the space within four feet of this window. And some of these plants are LARGE.

I find that I like the look of plant stands that stagger each plant. One on top of the table, one on the floor. I have to stage and arrange the rest on large tins, lifts, and other props, but I get them all in.

Spring fever is the worst, when I HAVE to move them around because of that Nest Restlessness. That is a terrible feeling! Please tell me it will go away when my son leaves home, and it's no longer a nest, but a swingers pad... well sort of.

I am hoping to have wondrous pics soon, but... the camera will not accomodate any software less than Win98 (bite me!) so I have to send off for patch software. I have to download scanner software, and I have other things more pressing at this time of year. I still do not have my out-of-state packages ready to go...

I need to go now!
