Yup, that's one outrageous Tillandsia.
Aside from a nice red Streptocarpus and a couple of African violets, all I have in bloom is a vase full of cut asters I just bought.
I'm slowing down of late.............
Oh, yes, and a red Kohleria. And I'm not a big fan of red, but any flowers are just fine this time of year.

Only a guess. I've never seen a Tillandsia in the flesh. You wouldn't like to e-mail me the picture and a bit of a description or how you grow it to put in the DB, would you?
