Den, I've another friend whose son is preparing to ship out :( I believe that definitely IS stress. Why the world is set up so young ones defend our differences is beyond me.
It's definitely pruning time here. For years my DD has believed my bay window should be the Christmas tree site. BUZZ!wrong! But I did give it a whole room of its own this year. Such luxury, this big place.
Actually, my plants are pruning themselves. My place is the north unit of a duplex, and with the sun on the south horizon they are definitely not pleased with the light situation. New plants are Reaching For The Sky. I keep telling them to hang on, Solstice is on its way!

Hi PerL! My windows face west....window really. I have a patio door that also faces west. Challenging.

Denny, no, you aren't being a wuss. Any parent would be very concerned about having a son ship out, even stateside. He's in the Army isn't he? My fingers are crossed that he won't see combat; if not, this could be a really great opportunity for him. Would I want to be in your place? Not in a million years.

Batty aka Iris
