What about recipes in a jar? My husband has been laid off for three months and that is what I am giving my neighbors this year. You take a Mason Jar.. add the dry ingredients and give the recipe so the person can make a treat adding just a couple things.

I have a disk of 140 recipes if you want to down load.

LMK.. there are some great recipes. I am giving my neighbors chili in a bottle and corn bread in a bag... I think they will like the dinner on a cold night. Last year I did Spiced pancake mix in a cute jar and gave a bottle of Mrs. Butterworth's Apple Cinnamin Syrup.. I can not tell you how many people mentioned how much they liked the gift. It was easy and inexpensive!

I hope that helps! If you want the recipes, let me know. Just be warned... best to leave on the disk.. it is 150+ pages printed!

Karen
