All i said was that Laard might be offended, i never said that he was and i tried my hardest to explain that. As it happens he is not offended so everything is ok and there is no need for Hannah to tone anything down. I was merely saying that i wrote what i wrote just in case people might have been offended. This is why i requested that Hannah be a little careful (but not to 'Watch Out') in what she writes. But it is patently obvious that Hannah is going to write what she wants anyway, regardless if she offends anyone or not. She never has 'toned down' in the past and she never will in the future. If someone disagrees with her point of view, they will either a) be told to lighten up. b) told that it was joke or c)told that this is a forum for friends who are not offended by her comments and therefore it doesn't matter what she writes or d) fuck off. Other variations also exist but these represent the standard responses.
So you have been fooled by my 'comedy genius' angle, already? Sorry to confuse and disappoint but it was pure, unadulterated, sarcasm which is related to the aforementioned point b). This all started with the unforgettable "i hope you are not on a train when it crashes" joke directed towards me some months ago. I don't forget jokes like this easily and in subsequent months there have been other serious sounding statements that have been brushed off as merely a joke. It seems that Hannah sees herself as a bit of a joker and i think she possesses the type of black (not meant in any racist way) humour to possibly make it in comedy, especially the Northern pub/club scene. But with a little more practice of her repertoire she could then progress to eventually make UK television and with a bit more exposure to her 'so bad its good' brand of comedy she possibly could take the world by storm. Hannah, have you got any GOOD "jokes" left to tell? i would love to hear them. I thought i put my point across well and that it required no further explanation. Obviously i was wrong. Well i didn't want anyone to misrepresent me so this is why i have responded to this message. I hope this doesn't degenerate into more pointless arguing. Anyway if i don't find a house/flat in the next few days i'll be back in Coventry until September/October time.
