Subject: Theories

I enjoy reading your reviews and thought I might add a theory for consideration. It does seem like everyone is spinning out of control in their own way. Xander and Anya and their wedding plans, Willow with her Magic and Buffy's flirtation with the dark side (Spike). Dawn and Tara are the two most sane of the Scoobies left which is scary because neither are that powerful.....or are they? I've learned that Joss does nothing without reason. He had Dawn swipe earing last season and used it in plot this season. Simple seemingly meaningless things definately do have meaning in The Wonderful World Of Whedon. In "The Body" when Dawn is talking to her classmate in the washroom she makes a wish. She wishes that she had the power to just crush some other girls head in with her thoughts (or something like that).I'm quite sure that some unsuspecting bad guy praying on Dawn will discover that power sometime this season. It is my theory that things will get out of control for everyone this season but in the end it will be Dawn and her new found powers that save the day (maybe with a little help from a reformed sister). After all they have to start grooming her for season eight when we will all be watching "Dawn The Vampire Slayer" and "Son of Angel" instead of the stuff we were spoiled with so many years ago.

I realy doubt we'll have "Dawn the Vampire Slayer" because she can't comepete with Buffy as a show. I recently heard that Michelle is thinking about taking a year off after she graduates from UPN High School (or whereever she studies). That will happen after season seven.
I would like to see Dawn be part of a Slaying group instead of having to be someone chosen. I have heard rumours that she'll suddenly have powers, but I doubt she'll harnass them quickly. She'll need a break-in period.
Buffy has GOT to the superhero again, and once she hits the wall, she'll see that..and starting staking Spike.
As for Willow, I don't know but I suspect Tara may be holding back on her powers, until there's an emergency. It's always the quiet ones.
Thanks for the response!!
