Ya... I don't own a horse (yet) tho, so I really don't know much about training. I ride, I groom, I tack up, etc... I read a lot about training and stuff, but I can't use any of that stuff on a regular basis... Which really sucks.

My collie is fairly useless at those sort of things... She is what I like to call a spaz-catcher - she tries to catch the ball AFTER it smacks her in the nose. She has difficulty with 'roll over'. She can sit and lie down and all that, but it requires a lot of prodding to get her to do such a thing... My parents wanted to get her to speak, but she doesn't bark unless she's wrestling or playing with either a human or a cat, so that was useless... She seems to have an addiction to cheese whiz (don't ask, it keeps her occupied during the day), and has a bad case of separation anxiety. The creature is timid, shy and quiet. Likes kids, tho. Everybody likes her too... It's not uncommon to walk down the street with the dog and hear cries of 'Look! It's a Lassie-dog!' following me and her... She's cute and all, and likes to take the leash in her mouth on walks, but I really don't see her having any special talents... Unlike your mutt, Badhbh. Did you teach him all that stuff? Did he go to obedience school (my dog didn't, but I think she should have)?
