For story #1, I wrote a similar story arc, three stories in all, each story told in one of the main character's POVs starting with Adam, then Michael, then Nikita. The stories are called (in order) No Regrets, Bittersweet Symphony, and Sacrifice and Solace. You can read them at my website (www.angelfire.com/scifi2/jlo1013/lfn.html. Unfortunately, I've forgotten to post them all here.
