Don't remember if I told you. They are used to having
nest boxes near the ceiling. My cages sat on top a 4'
tall platform so the floor of the cage was over 4' off
the floor of the room they were in. The cages had legs
on them, too. They used 8oz water bottles and always
had a dry food mix available..
