Here is a paragraph of a 16 chapter story I'm writing tell me what ya think!

The desert fortress has an primordial feeling to it. The coarse stone had been beaten smooth by the merciless combination of sand and wind years ago. The old towers are used only in need and the stairs must be traveled with assiduousness. By day vast stone arches that permit the daylight the Great Hall, at night candles rest on the table. The forge is found by the kitchens, the fire that heats the ovens can also be used to melt iron. The cellar is below the Great Hall, with a flight of steps leading to it. A pulley system is in place, which makes bringing up the kegs effortless. The fortress is a phenomenon of engineering.
