Kal's shins are bleeding again now that Sets has removed all the old blood and fur. It is clean blood however which aids in the healing process. Sets takes the container of salve from the table next and scoops out a fair amount onto her paw.*

Now then, this'll help yah teh heal well en good teh be sure Kalear.

*She continues speaking as she rubs the salve as gently as she can into the wounds, hoping to draw her friend's attention away from the pain.*

Tell me of yer fight with the squirrel Kalear. Where were yah when it took place?

*The salve is made of bee's wax, motherwort, and tiseria (another less powerful atiseptic). It is used to stop the bleeding and close the wounds. It also works to numb the area of injury slightly. When she is satified with the treatment of the wounds she looks at Kal's side. The cut is not too deep but needs attention as well.*

Now matie, I know these cuts on yer legs are going teh need stitching if yah waqnt them teh heal properly, but I should look at yer side as well teh be sure. Might as well do both stitching jobs at the same time if yer side needs it as well. Could yah lie on the table fer a few minutes on yer good side an I'll take a look if that's alright with yah. While I look at yer side twill give yer legs time teh numb up a bit.

*Clears some of the medical supplies off the table and makes room for Kal to lie across it.*
