 "Welcome home Atnalta," he said gently. Though his heart rejoiced at her decision to accept them, he knew part of her was holding back. Of course, he didn't count that against her. The filly had experienced some pretty rough stuff during her short life and he didn't really think she'd throw herself at them. He returned her nuzzle with one of his own, not smothering but with just enough pressure to let her know that she was indeed welcome.
