Subject: gas gauge

Greetings. I am a first time 928 owner as of Saturday, purchasing Mike Clemens's granite green 88 928s4 (picture is up of it on the gallery) with 45k miles on it.

The car is in beautiful condition, nearly good as new. I do have one question. When the gas gauge reads nearly empty and I fill the car up, I put in close to 13 gallons, no where near the 23 US gal capacity that the owners manual states. I'm assuming its the gauge in the tank.

Any suggestions on easy fix? Its really a minor inconvenience, but if I can fix it without too much headache I will give it a shot.

Thanks in advance.

Art
