I had the opportunity to drive my friends brand new 150 mile on the clock BMW 325i (the four door). I like the way the 2.5 liter six really revs up. His car has the tiptronic like automatic 5 speed. Very cool. The sequence is a$$backwards to me but still a very cool feature. All in all, i really liked the car. He let me drive it just like i would my own 928 and aside from very noticable amounts of body roll (he didnt get the sport package) the car handled great for a family sedan.

However. I think my antiquated '79 would eat this car up.

I must really be used the heavy steering on my old bugger, because i really didnt like the easy power steering of the BMW.

Is the M3 a night and day difference from the normal stock 3 series?

I offered to let my friend drive the 928, but he declined for now.

As new cars go, i think i would buy a 3 series bimmer.
