While living in Ft. Lauderdale for several years, I had the good fortune to get to know Hans Mundt, the owner of HSM Racing, a single proprietor Porsche shop. Hans rebuilt several 911 engines for me and was the only one who could work on my cars.

In the 1970's, he was a chief mechanic with Porsche's factory LeMans racing teams.

He gave me one recommendation that was very important to him, and he mentioned it to me almost every time I saw him:

Add 4 ounces of Marvel Mystery Oil to 10 gallons of gasoline when you fill up. Hans said it lubricated the top side, ( lines, injectors, carbs, fuel pump, intake valves, etc.), and is fantastic for the engine.

I have been doing it religiously for over 15 years.
