No doubt. I am very glad to hear you are OK healthwise. Oh, but for pure luck, it wasn't me. Hwy 25 is an animal. Fortunately, DEVEK put a a real task-master leader on the funride down 25 in August, so we rarely got over 65. I think I know the turn you missed. :-(

Having broken down before on I-5 where the nerest town was Coalinga, I have an inkling of your experience trying to get out of King City. You might as well been on Mars.

About 8 months ago, one of the visitors to this board had a total and did a fabulous job negotiating with the insurance company, getting a good deal of cash and the car. Gee, I can't recall who it was. Maybe worth posting on the Rennlist 928 board as well.

Dennis, having seen your car several times, I know what a sweet ride you had there and how attached you were to it, so I feel for you. Hope you get things back to normal and a new ride soon.

If there is any way I can help, let me know. Be glad to look at 928s with you. :-)

Bill
