Try putting less pressure on your bottom by standing (almost) in the stirrups and leaning forward. That way, if the horse stops suddenly you'll land on your head and your bottom won't hurt.

I belive what your problem is that your not placeing your weight in the right spot. When running ( cantering, loping) you should put all your wight in your heals and press your butt into the seat then you won'lt be boucing around which makes your butt sore
