Hey Wendy - don't fret about 200g! It's so small, and it could just be fluid. I know it's disheartening, but it's the overall drops from month to month that count, not the weekly fluctuations. I always tell myself that I'm in this for the LONG haul, and weekly variances are not as important as the longer term results.

Having said that, if the scales are making you uncomfortable, then ignore them for a while - or just weigh yourself monthly. Measurements are great too - I take mine once a month, as well as my weigh-ins.

hang in there, OK?

Hi Wendy

Don't stress about the 200gm gain - that's nothing and probably just fluid. You'll find that it will disappear along with more next week.

As Shashi says - measurements are a great indicator, sometimes better than your scales (especially as we women have the TOM swings in our weight). You may find that measurements give you the boost that you need to stay positive. It's great when your clothes that used to be tight are now fitting nicely or even loosely even if the scales say otherwise - clothes don't lie!

Take it easy - you'll be great!

Nerida :)
