The basic rules are these:

- you can eat up to 4 points a day less than your 'official' entitlement - so that means you can eat between 21 and 25

- you can eat your exercise points or not - it's up to you. I tend to eat some of them, but not all. I find I lose better if I eat at least some of my exercise points.

- so basically you can eat anywhere from 21 to 29. If I were you, I'd be aiming for somewhere around the 23-26 mark each day, but it would depend on the level of your hunger, etc. Maybe some days you might aim for higher, and some days lower.

Hi there Wendy

Even if you excercise for 2 hours a day(walking) which would be 8 points, you can't count more than 12 a week and ca'nt eat more than 12 bonus points a week. I walk for at least 1/2 hour each day and count 2 points for each day each week. I always eat my bonus points as i find that 18 points a day just is'nt enough for me. I am having good losses so I am totally ok with eating my bonus points each day as i know that a lot of people don't.

it may be a case of just trying different amounts of points until you find what works well for you
