You'll never live it down, Geeg.

You don't like the movie. I get it. And it was my bad for jumping on you for it. To each his own.

BUT...

Of course the movie is exaggerated. It's called satire, Geeg. If you want real life, then DO NOT WATCH MOVIES!. Even documentaries are often exaggerated. Next time, suspend belief and just imagine: WHAT IF, and you'll get a lot more enjoyment out of movies like this.

Dark Comedy:
It follows the fundamentals of dark comedy to the letter with dominant elements of comedy, tragedy, gloomy and morbid satire. If it's not a dark comedy, then what is it?

Football Movie:
Nitpick much? Does it have to be filmed on a football field to be a football movie? Is there a ratio you have in mind? Does the central character have to be a player or a coach? By what I imagine your definition of what a football movie is, no such movie exists because each that I've seen, the game of football always plays second or third fiddle to a central plot and sometimes is even just implied. This was a small screen independent movie, with no budget for football scenery.
