Subject: Child pageants; good & bad

As I have read some of the meesages on this board pertaining to child pageants and the "so called" reporter who is out there to "bring light" to the rest of the world about how pageants are bad for children, how she researched her material, how it is cult-like, how there are certian "good" pageants, how the GG's are "bad" people, I have to wonder at her motives.........She writes this article bashing pageants, children, and adults, saying that we bash people, etc., but yet what is she doing? I have read the article this person wrote, and she obviously did not research her material as well as she would have you believe. Who is she to accuse the pageant world of "bashing" but yet it is the exact same thing that she is doing??!! True, sometimes pageant parents do get out of hand, as do some pageants, but there is also a good side to pageants which reporters do not seem to recognize. I am not trying to start another bash-fest or whatever, but as it is stated in the Bible............."Let he who is without blame cast the fisrt stone"..........both sides need to think before they speak.
