Mon chere Lib:
You can download freeshare Hebrew fonts from the Microsoft downloading website. That will allow your computer to read Hebrew fonts (in which Yiddish is written).
Now, to write -- I've been through this already! -- you can either buy a Hebrew word-processing software package (they're not cheap), or you can open your Microsoft Word application, select "insert", then select the "Tahoma" font, and on the font-type menu (upper right hand corner on the dialogue box) select "Hebrew-basic", then insert the letter one at the time.
Even if the letter appear "backwards" on your Word screen (from left to right, as in English or French), they'll show forwards (from right to left) on your Internet postings.

Salut mon ami!
