Now at the station house one of the officers opens the backdoor, catching an eyefull. Mirino rolls over once and sits up rubbing her eyes under her glasses. She blinks several times and looks around. Staring at a leather belt with various compartments and holsters she looks up following the black tie. Her eyes stop on his stubby facial hair. "Who are you?"
"I'm Bradley." She squints and looks around.
"Where am I?" a yawn escapes after the question.
"We took you down to the department for questioning. You were at the scene of a homicide."
"I was?" her eyebrow raises a bit.
"Aww, hell Brad I think she's got amnesia or something." She angrily glares at the other man.
"I do not I know perfectly who I am!"
"Good then you can answer some inqueries." Bradley says smiling. Mirino laughs nervously and starts rubbing her head.
"Come to think of it, I forgot my name. Guess I can't stay heh heh." She springs up and turns away from the cop. He wraps his arms around her waist. "HEY!"
"If you have amnesia we have to ask you a different set of questions, to find out where you live." He grins at his intellect. She sighs and tries to walk away, but his grip tightens and his arms move up for a better one. In doing so he accidentally props up her breast. Her face turns red and her eyes become the embodiement of fury itself.
"YOU had better let go now! I won't let you fondle me you pervert!" She starts to violently thrust herself about.
"You've always been good with women Brad." His partner was leaking sarcasm.
"I'll tell Nick! And he'll break something of yours!" she yelled, but she didn't think he actually would.
"Whose Nick?" the other cop asked.
"Nicholas Adrean! The poet and bounty hunter!"
"Hey... That's the guy who killed six people a while back. There's a big reward on his head."
Suddenly realizing her error of judgement, she stops moving, "No, wait I was kidding, I don't know anyone named Nick." She laughs uneasily again, "Really I don't know him! How could I know someone wanted for murder!? Really look at me I'm just a girl and and I work for the police to."
"If we bring him in we could get off the street." One says encouraging the other.
"And get those cushy detective jobs!" Brad replied. The both grinned and gave each other high five over the car. She tried to pull out of his one arm but she wasn't even strong enough to do that. She starts to whine as they drag her towards the station doors.
