"Where's mom?" Mirino asks standing between her mother's open door and Hatcher. He looks at her then back to the newspaper. "Well?" now with a semi-demanding look on her face. He raises his watch to her face. She grabs his arm and yanks him up reading the dial, "It's almost noon!" she shouts in disbelief, still holding her brother in the air. "HOW COULD I HAVE SLEPT THAT LONG!?" throwing her arms into the air, Hatcher slowly picks the paper back up and continues reading the page. Focusing on her brother, "What's so intresting you won't answer me?" She stares down at the paper.

'I saw it! It killed six people in less than a minute! This big fericious animal!' That was a quote from Trevor Hellum, a local proprietor who witnessed the gruesome slaughter of six men. Six men whose identities have yet to been discovered. Police say the bodies are to disfigured to make a positive identification.

"This should be in the tabloids..." Mirino moans bored. Hatcher picks up a nearby paperback book entitled. 'Roses and Bedsheets' he holds it by his head dangling it back and forth.
"What exactly should this be shelved under? Romance or educational?" Mirino's face turns completely red as she snatches the book and holds it to her chest covering the title. Hatcher grins and points to the back of it which is in plain sight. A picture of a man and a woman underneath a sheet seemingly nude. She looks at the back and turns the book around again laughing nervously.
"That's just an exageration of what really happens."
"So, there was no compelling embrace, just unbridle se-"
"THERE WAS NONE OF THAT!" The anger and embarassment becomes a teaching face. "It was about the trials of a woman's floral shop and the closeness of, of-"
"Their bodies?"
"Right." She nods then quickly turns red again. "Wait, I didn't mean-!" Hatcher snickers and shakes his newspaper continuing to read. Mirino walks into her room, dragging behind her
