I won't be surprised if fans make comparisons with
singers who are in the same music class/catagory.

Like Sarah and Rachelle. Both winners at different
times in Reg's SFAF/SFAN. Same age generation, etc..

Can I ask that everyone try not to post comparisons
with Regine? Ya know why..

You can tell me personally if you think some other
artist is a better singer than her. (I like to know
that is possible someday. lolz..) OR if you think
some other artist sang a song better/ recorded or
does a song better than Regine. Because I won't
mind it unless I see malice in it. I always said
if you can't do a saong better than the person
it is associated with (the person who made it a
hit) then why do it at all?

Now Joe says Rachelle's version of Carey's hit
is better? But he probably meant 'it sounds better'
(to him) And that would be his opinion. But since
he said it was better- now we're talking about
something that has to be looked into. That's really
more than just a opinion. You made a statement. And
sometimes they need to be claried or corrected when
its a big one like that. To Regine fans at least. I
can tell you that one will undoubtedly hit a nerve
among hard core fans. And you know that. hehe..

So it will have to be 'nicely' debated. Because your
opinion is being respected here. And will now be put
to the test.

And if you end up being right it could help Rachelle
Ann get a faster acceptance among Regine fans.

So who thinks Rachelle does a good version of Carey's
"Through The Rain." Who thinks its a better version
than Carey herself did? What about Regine's version?
Who doesn't like it all at?!

Remember that some opinions are from people with
different taste.

Please don't post an opinion if you haven't even
hear the different versions. This isn't who is a
better artist. Just what you thought was a better
version. Why, if possible. Maybe Joe from NY just
gone "lovestruck" with his first impressions of
Rachelle.

I can't give an opinion. I not only haven't heard
Rachelle's version but havent' even got to hear
Regine do it! (*sob*) I know.. I know.. Such a
sad thing to happen to a Regine music lover like
me. The price you pay for caring. Takes your time
away for fun fan stuff like downloading the song
from Multi-media.

And Joe.. we're going kick your butt good if your
wrong about that. No one gets off so easy with me.
Everyone should know that by now.

Rachelle Ann Go is looking good. So far..
Don't no one go jumping the gun and shouting
she's a superstar yet because most of the
music jury is still trying to hear all the
evidence. Meaning her new album. There have
been many one-hit wonders out there. And she
does have one major glaring 'glitch' stuck
to her. Its being managed by the same people
who are grooming Sarah Geronimo. And some of
their moves aren't being looked upon as
the best thing for the artist.

But that itself is just an opinion
that is still very shaky, I'll admit.

Now that's a little better way of saying it. And like what mmjun said, avoid making a dead-end statement when you're sharing an opinion, like what you stated "that's why she sounded better than regine" (bad), but rather make it a point to say "in my opinion" or "sa akin lang", so that it shows that you acknowledge that other people might think otherwise... :-)
