While she's far enough away from Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl" (Interscope) to not be a serious challenger for No. 1 next week, Carey could be looking at her 16th chart-topper as soon as two weeks from now.

Carey's chart climb had been aided by an abundance of radio spins. On the Hot 100 Airplay chart, "We Belong Together" rises 2-1, becoming Carey's first chart-topper on this survey since "One Sweet Day" ruled for 13 weeks in 1995-96.

AND WE BELONG TOGETHER OFFICIALLY REACHES THE NUMBER 1 SPOT AT THE BILLBOARD HOT 100 THIS WEEK.
THIS MAKES WBT HER 16TH NUMBER ONE HIT, BEHIND ONLY ELVIS WITH 18 AND THE BEATLES WITH 20.

THIS ALSO STRENGTHENS HER CLAIM TO THE TITLE AS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL FEMALE ARTIST IN THE BILLBOARD US CHARTS.

The great Mariah is definitely back. for sure marami na naman mai-inspire sa kanya including our Songbird Regine. I have MC's latest album ang I can say the "VOICE" is back.
