There are 4 of us (2 adults, 2 know alls ) and we all prefer the van and tent set up to caravan and car (4-0 on the vote). A decent 4 man tent such, as a Khyam folds down really compact and can be pretty quick to put up (ours goes up in under 5 minutes sometimes even though it says 240 seconds on the box.)
