I was then medivaced
to benhua then the long lonely trip back face down on a stretcher.If anyone can tell me his name I could then put a name to his dying face that haunts me.I relive that day every day and wonder if I did enough to try to save him. Being a point man and in country almost a year I thought I had experienced almost every emotion possible until that day.Now since november 6,1971@8.00am I am not home yet please leave on a light for me so I can find my way back home and maybe find myself again.
