Subject: More US Robottoms?

Not too many Rowbothams/Robottoms here, I fear. My grandfather, James Robottom, jumped ship in New York about 1880? or so, from a White Star boat. He married Eunice Wickware, and had a son, Arthur Haight, and a daughter, Sarah, whose husband's name I have forgotten. Arthur married Blanche Coykendall, had one child, son James Arthur Robottom. James Arthur married Mildred Fletcher Cross, and they had two daughters, Eunice Lynne, and Deborah Clare, both of whom married and had children, but none named Robottom, of course. However, there is a family legend that James I, sent for his father after he had had some success, and father and brother came to New York, fought with James over this and that and disappeared. Any comments?
