"Aye, that ye may." Noticing her spear, he spreads his arms in a graceful bow, showing his lack of weaponry. He nods to the horses he had tied to his wagon, their hides gleaming with care. "I'm a horse trader, these are me beasties. A handsome lot, wouldn't ye agree?" Without waiting for an answer he turns to face the group of horses, a proud smile on his face. "All o' them are well-trained, though the black there needs a reminder now and again on how a lass should behave. She is for sale, as is the big roan gelding there, the part-coloured stallion on the other side, and this bay cob here." Clapping his hand affectionately on the bay's rump he begins again. "I saw your village and decided to stop, thinking perhaps you could use some good horseflesh. They can all pull a cart, but I'd not trust the stallion in a double harness. The bay is good for some light draft work also, and the gelding is a very willing lad. The black mare there is one of the best runners or jumpers I've seen in a while."
He turns back to face the woman, finished for the moment with extolling the best virtues of his horses. Standing quietly, wondering whether anyone here was looking for mounts, but not worried if they weren't.
