Somewhere, I've read that the Twin Turbo-128 installer installs:

Twin Turbo™ Acceleration
Twin Turbo™ Control Panel
Twin Turbo™ Control Strip
Twin Turbo™ Upgrade

I, too, have the card and a Mac 9600, but I have none of the IXMicro software except fot the Acceleration extension (v4.0.2). This Mac sometimes starts up in 1024 x 768 mode, and sometimes in 640x480 mode, with this as the only option in the Monitors control panel. If you send me as an attachment the control panel and any of the other software I don't have, I'll see if I can get it to work on my setup with OS 8.6 and report back to you. I'd also be extremely grateful to get my hands on this software from anyone, of course.

And does anyone know what the above-mentioned upgrade does? Thanks in advance for any help offered.

One possible solution to problems with this card is to disable the 9600 Graphics Accelerator extension, if you have it running. This is reported to solve problems of crashes with AppleWorks 6.1, but I don't know if it solves other problems too.
