"I'm sorry, I got confused, I'm trying to remember everything I can, but sometimes even I get confused about the septs, and I was raised among the Cehancien. Oh, silly me! Anyways, the third sept specializes In protecting the inner sept from Foreigners as well.

Certain people carry something with them when they travel, if they wish to be welcomed into the Cehancien society, they must first have a marking on their left hand of a purple moon rising... the moon of my people. The hunters, as we call the guardians of our people, can see this symbol from a great distance, and if they don't, then the creature they have bonded with will spot the symbol. If a traveler has this, then they are welcomed.

See, look," Ambermoon draws back the sleeve of her long shirt and reveals the tattoo of a dark purple, silverish moon rising. It appeared to be rising over a land, but it's hard to tell. "All the children who are accepted in the septs are tattooed with this. Not many can copy it the way it's supposed to look."
